The scheme was the full refurbishment of the Dental school on Level 5 of the Worsley Building for Leeds NHS trust which was carried out over four phases. Each phase was approximately a quarter of the full floor area which had to be refurbished without affecting the rest of the occupied dental school.
This included ensuring all services remained live to the occupied areas and involved a huge amount of planning and liaison with the project team to ensure all shut downs and change over’s were fully programmed to make sure the Dental Hospital was able to fully function throughout the works.
Our works consisted of the Mechanical installation which included the Medical Gases, Heating, Hot and Cold water, Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems, Natural Gas, Dental Vacuum system and BMS controls system.
In partnership with the Main Contractor, Illingworth and Gregory Ltd and the Electrical Contractor, Richardson Electrical Limited we successfully completed this complex scheme to an extremely high standard, on programme and within the constraints of the Trust’s budget.
